Here and There

Here and There is the story of Dan, the owner of a small seaside café, and Aki, a sailor who is always on the move. Two people, two different worlds: one cherishes stability, the other seeks novelty. Yet both sometimes feel lonely. When their paths cross, the world suddenly feels both vast and wonderfully close.

Here and There is written and illustrated by Chinese picture book author and illustrator Thea Lu. The book received wide recognition, being named one of the Best Illustrated Children’s Books by The New York Times and featured at the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition. Today, Thea is regarded as one of the most promising new voices in children’s literature.
