Gennady Pavlishin is a famous Khabarovsk artist. Since his student days, he has been seriously interested in the unique culture of indigenous peoples. His first illustrated book was the Nanai fairy tale “Mergen and His Friends”, and soon after that he created a series of illustrations for the book of fairy tales by D. Nagishkin “Amur Tales”, which brought the artist worldwide fame.
