Andrea Antinori

Andrea Antinori (born 1992) is an Italian illustrator from Recanati, now based in Bologna. He studied graphic design and illustration at the ISIA in Urbino and at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, and since 2013 has been creating books for both Italian and international publishers.

Antinori has illustrated books such as Sulla vita dei lemuri, Un libro sulle balene, La grande Battaglia, and many others. His illustrations received international recognition, earning him such awards as the Premio Andersen in 2017 for the best book 6/9 years old, the Best International Illustrated Book at the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair in 2019, and International Award for Illustration at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2023.
