Peter Goes is a Belgian picture book author and illustrator. He was born in Ghent in 1968 and studied animation at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK). For many years, he worked in theatre as a stage designer, lighting technician, and technical director. Nowadays, he focuses on graphic design, animation, and illustration.
Goes is known for his distinctive style, marked by intricate detailing and vibrant use of colour. His best-known work, Timeline (2015), has received multiple awards and has been translated into more than 25 languages.
