Narges Mohammadi studied graphic design in Tehran and now lives there. Her works have been repeatedly selected for important international exhibitions: in Bologna, Zagreb, at the Illustrated Book Festival in Korea (CJ Picture Book Awards).

Narges is sure that it is possible and necessary to talk to children, including through pictures, about everything: war, violence, pain, death, anger and hatred. In the book “Good night Commander!” they, together with the writer Ahmad Akbarpour, tell the story of a boy who became crippled and lost his mother during the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s.
