The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is the leading international event for professionals in the field of children’s publishing. It has been held in Bologna, Italy, every year since 1964.
Every spring, publishers, authors, illustrators, literary agents, distributors, booksellers and librarians meet at the fair in Bologna: they sell and buy copyrights, establish new contacts, and discuss the latest trends and developments in the children’s book market. At the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, you can see not only new editions of the classics, but also discover the latest works by contemporary children’s writers and illustrators from all over the world.
