Frédéric Clément

Frédéric Clément (1949) is a celebrated French artist, illustrator, writer, and designer. Over the years, he has brought to life a number of enchanting stories, including The Merchant of Marvels and The Peddler of Dreams, as well as The Boy Who Drew Cats, a Japanese fairy tale adapted by Arthur Levine. He also illustrated two books by Claude Clément: The Painter and the Wild Swans and The Voice of the Wood.

His first major recognition came in 1987, when he received an award in Bratislava, marking the start of an illustrious career.
